Privacy
This site doesn't track you. This page explains exactly what that means.
Short version: this website doesn't track you, doesn't sell anything about you, and collects only what you choose to send us.
What this site collects
- Nothing automatic about you personally. There are no advertising trackers, no social-media pixels, and no third-party analytics on this site.
- Standard server logs — like nearly every website, the server that hosts this site records IP addresses, pages requested, and timestamps for security and troubleshooting. They are not used to identify visitors.
- What you send us — this site has no forms. If you call, email, or write to a county office, what you send is used to answer you, and it may become a public record under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, like any correspondence with government.
Cookies & local storage
This site sets no tracking cookies. It keeps a few small items in your own browser: your daylight/evening theme choice, whether you dismissed the alert banner, and a briefly cached copy of the county's public weather forecast and severe-weather alerts (fetched from the National Weather Service so the homepage scene and the alert bar can reflect real conditions). None of it identifies you, none of it is transmitted to us, and clearing your browser data removes all of it.
Payments
This site takes no payments. Where a page points you to an office's own payment system (for example, the Sheriff's fine-payment site), you leave lonokear.gov, and that site's privacy policy governs what happens there.
Links to other sites
Pages link to state services (like the Arkansas Secretary of State and Game & Fish Commission) and to reference sources for photo credits. Their privacy practices are their own.
Children
This site is a general-audience government site and does not knowingly collect information from children.
